Shopify conversion audit
Where your store loses sales.
Most stores have more worth fixing than there’s time to fix. We go through every page, then tell you which handful actually matters and show you exactly where each one is.
Five business days · Every number checked against your store · Free rescan
Brands we’ve done this work for

- 1F.06HighHomepage
Store logo is marked up as an empty heading
The page's top-level heading contains no text at all, and the real headline below it is duplicated in the markup.
- 2F.07MediumHomepage
Ten images ship with no alt attribute
Eight links also have no accessible name, so their purpose is unavailable to a screen reader or a crawler.
What you actually get
One document, five business days after you send us your URL. Everything ranked, everything shown on your own pages.
Every page, not just the obvious ones
Homepage, collections, product pages, cart, checkout, navigation. Desktop and phone.
Ranked by what's worth doing
Start at the top and stop when the sprint runs out. Nothing else needs deciding.
A screenshot for every finding
Marked up on your own store, with the change written next to it. Nobody has to guess what we meant.
We check back after you ship
Thirty days later we rescan, confirm the fixes landed, and flag anything new. No extra cost.
This is the list you get
Every finding gets a rank, a surface and the reason it matters. You work down it until you run out of time.
- F.01High
Cart
Add to cart fails silently when options are unselected
Two option groups are required and neither is labelled. Click add to cart without choosing and nothing happens: the cart stays empty and no message says why.
- F.02Medium
Cart
No delivery expectation before checkout
Subtotal and a taxes-calculated-later note, but no lead time or ship window on made-to-order furniture, where timing is the main hesitation.
- F.03Working
Checkout
Accelerated checkout is correctly placed
Shop Pay and PayPal sit directly under the primary button at a comfortable size. Flagged so nobody moves it.
- F.04High
Product page
No sticky add-to-cart
The buy button sits near the top of a page seven screens long. Once it scrolls away there is no way to act without scrolling back.
- F.05Medium
Product page
No shipping, returns or guarantee language
Nothing on the page addresses what happens after the order. The words do not appear anywhere in the copy.
- F.06High
Homepage
Store logo is marked up as an empty heading
The page's top-level heading contains no text at all, and the real headline below it is duplicated in the markup.
- F.07Medium
Homepage
Ten images ship with no alt attribute
Eight links also have no accessible name, so their purpose is unavailable to a screen reader or a crawler.
- F.08Medium
Mobile
Over 200 footer links below the touch minimum
Rows are 16px tall against a 44px minimum, and around thirty fall under even the 24px floor. Concentrated in the footer rather than spread across the site.
- F.09Medium
Mobile
Primary navigation is 16px tall
The top-level category links are a third of the recommended touch height, so mis-taps land on the neighbouring item.

Questions people ask
If yours isn’t here, email us and we’ll answer it.
Who is this for?
Shopify brands at the point where a couple of points of conversion move a number that matters. Usually that's a founder, an ecommerce manager or a growth lead at a store doing enough volume that small changes compound. If you already suspect the store could be doing better but can't say which change to make first, that's the gap this fills.
Do you work with stores on other platforms?
No, Shopify storefronts only. Themes, apps, variant handling, cart behavior and the checkout all work in particular ways on Shopify, and knowing those specifics is what keeps the recommendations buildable. A platform-agnostic audit tends to produce advice your developer then has to translate before anyone can act on it.
What exactly do I receive?
A single document rather than a deck. Every finding is ranked by what's worth doing first, and each one appears on an annotated screenshot of your own store showing the element in question and the change we suggest. There's a short order of work at the end so the list can go straight into a sprint. Thirty days later you get a rescan report covering what shipped, what didn't, and anything new that's appeared since.
What do you need from me?
Your store URL and about five minutes on the intake form. We review the public storefront the same way a customer sees it, so there's no admin access to grant, no app to install and no code to add to your site. If there are particular pages, products or hypotheses you want examined closely, the intake form is where to tell us.
How long does it take?
Five business days from the moment you submit the intake form. If we need something from you during the review we'll ask, but the timeline assumes we won't have to.
Do you implement the recommendations?
Not as part of the $750 audit, which is analysis and recommendations. Most clients hand the document to their own developer or agency, since the findings are written to be picked up directly. If you'd rather we made the changes, we quote that separately once you've read the findings, so you're scoping against a real list instead of an estimate.
What if we already have an agency or an in-house team?
That's usually the better case. A team that already knows the codebase can act on a ranked list immediately, and the ranking settles the argument about what goes first. The audit is written as input for people who are already building, not as a replacement for them.
What if you don't find much?
The document contains what the review actually surfaces. Every finding is checked against your live store data before it goes in, so nothing's padded to make the list look longer. If we haven't started your review, you can have a full refund.
Know what to fix first.
Send us your store URL. Five business days later you have the ranked list and the screenshots that go with it.
“They found 14 issues we'd been blind to for months. Three of the top fixes took our dev team a single sprint. Conversion went from 1.6% to 2.3% within six weeks.”
